Dr. De Piano is Vice-President for Academic Affairs at Nova Southeastern University.  He has university-wide appointments.
     
Prior to his current appointment, Dr. De Piano served as Dean of the  Center for Psychological Studies.  He was elected for 2 years as the Chair of  the University Council of Deans.  He has served as Chief Editor of three  referred journals as well as for a continuing book series.
     
Dr. De Piano teaches psychology related courses to students studying  within the Health Professions Division; he also teaches graduate psychology  courses in the areas of hypnosis, conceptualization and interviewing.
