CPS Professor to Present at Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling Conference

Dr. Shannon Ray, Assistant Professor, is proud to announce the first annual Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling National Conference to be held June 15 to18, 2008 near Asheville, North Carolina. The ASERVIC conference will focus on research based interventions that infuse spirituality throughout mental health treatment. Dr. Ray will be presenting a session titled “Counseling Clients with Chronic Pain: A Religiously Oriented Cognitive-Behavioral Framework.” Dr. Ray serves on the Board of Directors for the organization and also chairs the Membership and Awards Committees.
