Admissions Criteria
| 1. Completion of an APA-approved doctoral degree in clinical or counseling
psychology OR advanced standing with adequate progress (in good standing) in
an APA- approved doctoral program in clinical psychology. Advanced standing
is defined as being enrolled in a minimum of the second year of training and completion of one year of clinical practicum. For CPS students this likely means
they are in the 3rd year of the program or they came in with a masters and are
in the second year and have one year of masters practicum. |

2. Adequate knowledge of ethical standards of the profession as measured by professional issues and ethics course taken in the past five
years OR
3. successful completion of the national Examination for Professional Practice
in Psychology (EPPP) or its equivalent (as evaluated by the director and approved
by the dean). If licensed, a candidate must be in good standing with their
state licensing board.
4. Basic knowledge of psychopharmacology as measured by completion
of graduate course in psychopharmacology OR passing the national Examination
for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) or its equivalent (as evaluated
by the director and approved by the dean).
Non-degree Seeking Students
Applicants wishing to complete a limited number of selected courses (excluding
the practicum and physical assessment course) may request admission as a non-degree
seeking student. Eligible applicants include:
1. psychology or health care faculty
2. graduates of a psychology or pharmacology program
3. predoctoral psychology students
4. predoctoral students in pharmacology
Interested applicants must submit a request along with the rationale for taking
courses to the program director. Approval is on a seat available basis, at the
discretion of the director, and will be limited. Final approval of the dean
is required.
